Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival in Lima
At a certain time we will give you a warm welcome at the Jorge Chávez International Airport and we will transport you to your hotel. Overnight in Lima.

DAY 2: City Tour in Lima
At 9:30 am the City Tour begins for the most attractive and important places of Lima, also called "The city of kings". The tour includes a visit to the "Huaca Pucllana" considered a sacred village by the Incas. We also visit the Paseo de la República, Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor, where the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the municipality and the Archbishopric of Lima are located. In the center of Lima you will see the old streets, in whose mansions you will appreciate the beautiful viceroyal balconies. We will enter the monumental convent of San Francisco de Asís, which is the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. The choir room, the library of the monks, the sacristy, with its collection of canvases by Zurbaran and Rivera are appreciated. The great patio of the main cloister, finely decorated with Sevillian tiles from the 16th century, its beautiful Moorish arches and the underground crypts known as the famous "Catacombs" where you will feel the presence of the colonial past. Also visit the most traditional residential areas of Lima, such as: El Olivar Park in San Isidro, the Love Park in Miraflores and the famous "Larcomar" which is a shopping center with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. DAY 3: Oasis la Huacachina
06:40 am Transfer from the hotel to the bus station.
07:30 am Bus Lima / Ica.
12:00 pm Arrival to Ica and transfer to the hotel.
14:00 pm city tour in Ica, in which you visit the wine cellar "El Catador" or "Vista Alegre", where we will appreciate the process of making the wines and Piscos with their respective tasting, since Ica is called the land of the He came in Peru. Likewise, we will know Ancient and Modern Ica, as well as the sanctuary of Mr. De Luren, patron of Ica to whom year after year thousands of Devotees gather to accompany him in procession during Holy Week and during the 3rd week of October, so we will also visit the Regional Museum of Ica, where we will appreciate the magnificent chronological Organization and rest of the culture Paracas, Nazca, Ica and Inca. So, we will finish this fascinating tour visiting the oasis of the "Huacachina", whose lagoon appears as an oasis in the middle of the desert that is combined with a splendid landscape that harmonizes Dunes, palm trees and Huarangos.

NOTE: If you do not want to do the city tour there is the option to take a walk in sand cars and make the famous SAND BOARDING in the oasis of Huacachina in Ica.

DAY 4: Ballestas Islands (National Reserve of Paracas)
Our excursion to the Ballestas Islands begins with the pick-up of our clients at 07:00 a.m. Then we will drive our bus to the bay of Paracas, bordering the shores of the Pacific Ocean, until we reach the pier of Paracas. During the trip our local guide will give us a brief explanation about the city of Pisco and the economic importance of that fishing port.
Once arrived at the pier, we will board a slippery yacht, which will take us out to visit the Paracas National Reserve. During our tour we will stop to appreciate the enigmatic figure of the Candelabra, an impressive design traced on the side of a hill in the Bay of Paracas.
Then we will continue with direction to the Ballestas Islands. Here visitors can enjoy an impressive marine scene full of sea birds, penguins and sea lions. Here we will travel in our boat around the islands, passing through caves, rock formations and appreciate many other aquatic species. Due to its semi-tropical location, it is a little hot, so we recommend bringing sunscreen and a cap to protect from the sun's rays. Once we have visited the islands with our return to the pier of Paracas and then return to our hotel in Ica at 11:00 am.
11:30 am Transfer from the hotel to the bus station.
12:00 pm Bus Ica / Nazca.
14:00 pm Arrival to Nazca and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 5: Overflight to the Nazca lines
(9:00 a.m.) Transfer from the hotel to the airport in Nazca, where the surprising overflight to the Nazca lines will take place, which are great enigmatic figures of animals and geometric figures, forming together a great astronomical calendar in the Nazca desert.
(14:00 pm) The famous tour to the cemetery of Chauchilla takes place, in which the original mummies of the Nazca Culture are observed. Also, in this tour you will see how artisans ingeniously perform the huacos and ceramics of the region. Even in this tour you will appreciate how artisans make the transformation of gold into fine pieces for sale to the public.
(23:00 pm) Bus Nazca / Arequipa (9 hrs.)

DAY 6: City tour in Arequipa
(8:00 am) Arrival to Arequipa by bus and transfer to the hotel.
(14:00 p.m.) A city tour begins in the White City of Arequipa where you can visit: the Convent of Santa Catalina, the Plaza de Armas, the Church of the Compañía de los Jesuitas and its beautiful canvases veneered in bread from gold, the Church of San Francisco, the District of San Lázaro, Selva Alegre and the typical District of Cayma and the famous mirador of Yanahuara, for an amazing view of the Misti Volcano. Then return to the hotel Overnight in Arequipa.

DAY 7: Colca Canyon
(8:00 a.m.) After breakfast, the wonderful trip to the Colca Canyon begins, visiting the Pampa Cañahuaz National Reserve along the way, where you will observe the various vicuñas, alpacas and flamencos. The Stone Forest, the Mirador de los Andes, will also be appreciated, which has an extraordinary view to all the mountains and landscapes of the area. In this tour you will also see the Chucura Crater and the Chivay Viewpoint, where you can see the famous pre-Inca platforms. Then we go up to the small town of Chivay where we have lunch.
The afternoon is free to relax in the thermal baths of the area. Overnight in Chivay.

DAY 8: Colca Canyon
Early after breakfast, we will head to the place called "La Cruz del Cóndor" where the spectacular "Colca Canyon" is located and is at the same time a natural point of observation of the majestic flight of the condors, the largest carrion bird in the world. world. It is worth mentioning that the Colca Canyon is the deepest canyon in the world competing for a few meters with the Cotahuasi canyon in turn in Arequipa.
On the way back to Chivay, we will see the famous Hanging Tombs and the Sifón Suspension Bridge that joins the town of "Yanque" with that of "Carporaque". In the town of Yanque you can visit its beautiful and ancient churches as well as its characteristic stone streets, among other attractions. On the way you will have a spectacular view of the Colca Valley. Return to Arequipa at approximately 18:00 pm. Overnight

DAY 9: Bus Arequipa / Puno
(8:00 a.m.) After breakfast, you will be transferred from the hotel to the bus station and depart for Puno with a duration of approximately 5 hours.
(13:00 pm) Arrival in Puno and transfer to the hotel.
Free afternoon to observe the city and acclimatize to the altitude. Overnight in Puno.

DAY 10: Lake Titicaca (Uros and Taquile)
(7:30 am) Departure to the amazing tour on Lake Titicaca (the highest navigable lake in the world) in which a boat is approached that takes you to incredible Uros Floating Islands, made of cane and straw from a typical plant called "totora". Likewise, the Indians have built their houses and boats on the Uros Islands with the same material. Then continuing the trip, the boat heads them towards the Island of Taquile, inhabited by natives of "Quechua" speech, who have discovered an efficient and original social system and at the same time a fine technique to carry out their work by hand through their generations.
After a lunch in Taquile, there is a walk through the mountains and archaeological sites of the island.
At approximately 8:00 p.m., he returns to the hotel.
Overnight in Puno.

DAY 11: Bus Puno / Cuzco
(8:00 a.m.) After breakfast. Transfer from the hotel to the bus station with exit to Cuzco the bus has all the necessary amenities, as well as bathroom, on board service, videos, music, etc. The bus makes some stops along the way to visit interesting archaeological and natural areas of interest, the guide will be in charge of providing all the information.
Also, the bus stops at a country restaurant to have a buffet lunch.
The journey is 9 hrs.

DAY 12: City Tour + 4 ruins in Cuzco
(14:00 p.m.) Start the amazing City Tour through the beautiful and magical City of Cuzco visiting the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun "Koricancha"; so you also have a warm walk in the neighborhood of San Blas, place of the most renowned artisans of Cuzco, where you can buy beautiful crafts.
On the way you will also see the famous "Stone of 12 Angles". Then the bus leaves the city at 5 km where you will visit the ruins of Qenko, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay and the impressive Sacsayhuaman Fortress built strategically on a mountain overlooking the City of Cuzco. Built with large angular stones with an amazing precision to form the external walls, some of these stones can measure 9 meters, weighing 350 tons.
At approximately 6:00 p.m., we return to Cuzco.

DAY 13: Sacred Valley of the Incas
(9:00 am) The Sacred Valley of the Incas is a succession of picturesque little towns, beautiful valleys with amazing terraces, as well as impressive archaeological remains. This colorful trip has departures only on Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday.
On this tour you will first visit the great market of Pisaq, 32 km from Cuzco, where you have the possibility of buying handicrafts, clothing and various handmade objects.
Then the bus crosses the small town of Colca and arrives at the famous Urubamba Valley, where there is a delicious buffet lunch with the typical food of Peru. Then we arrive at the famous Fortress of Ollantaytambo which was built to guard the entrance to the Urubamba Valley and protect it from the enemy tribes that lived in the jungle at that time and from any other enemy that could approach it.
Ollantaytambo consists of a series of stone terraces superimposed one behind the other, which can be accessed by long staircases. Thus, we will have the opportunity to walk through its narrow streets and stone stairs of this great military and religious cultural center of the Incas, and have a better idea of its military strategy against possible invasions.
On our way back to Cuzco we will visit the picturesque indigenous village of Chincheros, where the remains of the royal treasury of the Inca Tupac Yupanqui are found. Admire the well-preserved Inca walls in the Plaza de Armas of Chincheros, as well as its beautiful colonial temples.
It returns to Cuzco at approximately 18:00 pm.

DAY 14: Machu Picchu
(6:00 am) Departure by train to the wonderful archaeological city of Machu Picchu also known as "The Lost City of the Incas".
The journey lasts 4 hours of crossing beautiful landscapes. Then the train arrives at the town of Aguas Calientes, where the bus will be boarded, which will climb the mountain for 20 minutes to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Once arrived in Machupicchu, the guide will explain the whole history of Machupicchu, including its main square, the circular tower, the sacred stone of the sun (Intiwatana), the royal barracks, the temple of the 3 windows, among other places of Machupicchu.
After the tour you have free time to have lunch in the small town of Aguas Calientes.
(17:00 pm) Return train Aguas Calientes / Cuzco.

DAY 15: Flight Cusco / Lima
