ROUTE OF THE GOCTA CATARACTS - 03 DAYS / 02 NIGHTS

DAY 1: YUMBILLA CATARACT
After breakfast in Chachapoyas we leave in a vehicle to the town of cuispe where we will start a 2 hour hike to the waterfall of Yumbilla with its 895 m height and then we will return to the town of Cuispes where we spend the night.

DAY 2: CATARATA ÑA CHINATA
We travel in a vehicle until we reach the town of San Carlos where we will start walking approximately 2 hours where we can visit the chinata waterfall, after this, in the afternoon we go to Cocachimba, because here we will spend the night.

DAY 3: CATARATA DE GOCTA
In the morning we move to the district of San Pablo where a walk begins for 2 hours until we reach the first fall of the Gocta waterfall, which is considered the third highest waterfall in the world with 771 m. of height, because from here you will get a panoramic view of the whole landscape of the area and of small lagoons waterfalls that are around the waterfall of Gocta.
After the visit we headed towards the second fall to also appreciate its beauty and then we go to Cocachimba where we will take the tourist bus that will take us back to Chachapoyas.
