Eco Lodge that is covered by a great biodiversity of the national reserve of Tambopata, this means that around the facilities there are great opportunities to see interesting species. The visit to Cocococha Lake is the only opportunity to see otter families.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Guests will be greeted at the airport and taken to the office, where you may be able to repack and leave anything you do not use in this part of the trip in the luggage storage. Then we continue to the port of the native community of Infierno, from where we will embark in an hour and a half by boat to Explorer's Inn Tambopata Ecolodge.
During this trip the guests will be welcomed with a small snack and from there a mandatory stop will be made in the control tower to register our entrance to the Tambopata nature reserve.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by the hostel manager, who will give you useful recommendations and information to have a very pleasant stay.
After a short break, our natural guide will give you an informative presentation about different species of alligators that can be observed in the Tambopata Natural Reserve, in order of arrival the guests will learn about endangered species.
Dinner
Again aboard our boat we will begin the nocturnal search for alligators in the Tambopata River. Our naturalist guide uses a flashlight in order to locate them in the banks of the river, to observe them from a respectable distance.
DAY 2: In order to have a better alternative to observe giant otters in danger of extinction, it is necessary to wake up very early and walk towards the Cocococha lake; a walk of 5 ½ km, during which our naturalist guide will explain us about the main ecosystems of the tropical forests, as well as the diversity of species of fauna that can be seen on the way.
While playing the game of hide and seek with the river otters, we will enjoy a small and short trip around the small lake of catamarans, as we enjoy the variety of wildlife that can only be found in this ecosystem.
Lunch.
After a short break we will visit a local farm near the lodge, which belongs to a member of the local community. This activity is the support and economic development of the community of La Torre and gives us the opportunity to see and try several natural products of the area. Dinner.
DAY 3: We will have breakfast early and then we will be ready for our departure from the lodge.
The time of departure this program according to the time of the flight to finalize your expedition on the same day.
Guests will be picked up from the port to our office in Puerto Maldonado, and then taken to the airport.
