Itinerary

DAY 1: CUSCO - MOLLEPATA - MARKOKASA

We pick you up from your hotel and travel by bus to the city of Mollepata. Along the way, we will pass through the picturesque cities of the Pampas de Anta (Izcuchaca, Zurite, Ancahuasi). We will stop in the Limatambo valley, where we will see the ruins of Tarawasi and then continue to Mollepata, where we will begin our adventure. In Mollepata, we will finish the arrangements for our hike and then we will start the excursion to our first camp in Markokasa.

DAY 2: MARKOKASA - CHOQUEKICLLA - SORAYPAMPA

We will start the day 2 with a walk to Choquekiclla, from where we will see the snowy Salkantay and the majestic Humantay, a sacred mountain with a snow-covered peak, where we will camp on the slopes of this mountain (4,000 m.s.).

DAY 3: SORAYPAMPA - JAPANESE PAMPA - INCA CANAL

The third day will be a spectacular day, we will start the trek through the pass of Salkantay, near the snow-covered peaks of the mountain, then descend to the Inca channel. During our walk we will be able to fully appreciate and take the imposing Andean topography

DAY 4: CANAL INCA - TRES PIEDRAS - LLULLUCHAPAMPA

We start the hike through the Inca canal, which leads us to Paucarcancha, where we will enter the valley of Cusichaca to reach Llulluchapampa (Incaracay).

DAY 5: LLULLUCHAPAMPA - PAKAYMAYU - SAYACMARKA

On the fifth day, we ascend to the first pass of Warmiwañuska at 4.200 m.s.n.m. This is the highest point on the Inca trail, and then we descend towards the Pakaymayu valley and continue our journey forward to Sayacmarka.

DAY 6: SAYACMARKA - PHUYUPATAMARCA - WIÑAYWAYNA

Day 6 Our trek will provide us with a sensitive change in climate, flora, and fauna, as we will be entering the cloud forest. Throughout the walk we will visit several archaeological sites during the course of the day.

DAY 7: WIÑAYWAYNA - MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO

Our reward at the end of our epic 7-day trip is the amazing panorama as we arrive at the great Inca citadel of Machupicchu. We will enjoy a guided tour of 2 ½ hours to the citadel of Machupicchu and then we will depart by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, and then take the train back to Cusco. Where we will be waiting to take you to your hotel.
