Itinerary

Day 01 City of Huaraz 3100 mts/ City of Chiquian 3400 mts/Llamac 3,300 mts/ Camp. Cuartelhuain 4200 mts.

Departure from the city of Huaraz at 7:00 a.m. South direction of the city of Huaraz visiting the cities of Chiquian 2100 m, where we will continue by a road affirmed visiting the villages of Llamac 3300m, and Pocpa until arriving at the lugara called Cuartelhuain 4200 m, where we will spend the night.

Day 02 camp. Cuartelhuain 4200 mts/ Paso Cacanan point 4700 mts/ camp. Mitucocha 4230 mts.

After breakfast we will start the camp, then we will continue the journey, for 5 hours towards the second Laguna Mitucocha camp 4230 m crossing the Punta Cacanan Pass 4700 m, where we can observe the impressive valleys, crossing the pass we will arrive at the Mitucocha lagoon to appreciate In beautiful mountains and the water mirror of the lagoon, we will spend the night here.

Day 03: Camp. Laguna Mitucocha 4230 mts/ Paso Alcay Punta 4740 mts/ Camp Laguna Carhuacocha 4200 mts.

After breakfast we will continue our route for 7 hours towards Alcay pass 4740m, where we can take pictures and have lunch for 1 hour and then descend to our camp in Carhuacocha lagoon to appreciate the highest mountain in the Cordillera Huayhuash. majestic Yerupaja 6634 m, and spend the night next to the lagoon.

Day 05: Camp Huayhuash 4330 mts/ Camp. Trapeze Base 4700 mts.

After breakfast as usual we will continue our journey to the base camp of Trapecio 4700 m here we prepare the camp and spend a good time enjoying the breathtaking views, then climb to the Trapeze step 5000m to enjoy the panoramic views offered by the Cordillera Huayhuash here we will have lunch, then we will return to the camp for the night.

Day 06: Camp. Trapezoid Base 4700 mts/ Paso Trapecio 5000 mts/ Camp Laguna Juraucocha 4343 msnm.

This day very early after breakfast we will begin to walk for 7 hours towards the Trapeze Pass 5000m. Looking at the Cuyoc and Puscanturpa mountains, from the highest point we will be able to observe many mountains of the Huayhuash Mountain Range, here we will begin to cross a glacier field and then descend to the lagoon Juarucocha4343 m. where we will spend the night.

Day 07: Camp. Juraucocha Lagoon 4343 mts/ Gran Vista Pass 5129 mts/CaramarcaCaramarca Camp 4575 mts.

This day very early after breakfast we will begin to walk through the valley of Sarapococha and Santa Rosa at the foot of the NevadoSarapo and Siula continue with the route to the highest point of this day, the Gran Vista pass 5129 m, here we will have lunch and enjoy the panoramic views of Siula, Sarapo, Rasac and Yerupaja, we continue our journey and descend to the valley of Segya to camp next to the Caramarca lagoon.

Day 8: Camp. Laguna Caramarca 4575 mts/ Paso Rasac Punta 5130 mts/ Camp. Laguna Jahuacocha 4050 mts.

After breakfast we start to walk to Paso Rasac 5130 along a moraine and snow road but with a great view of the mountains from here we will begin to descend observing the lagoons of Barrosacocha and rasaqcocha, continuing the journey through the lagoon of Jahuacocha where we will spend the night.

Day 9: camp Laguna Jahuacocha 4050 mts/ Mirador Paso Rondoy 4750 mts/ camp Laguna Jahuacochamts.

This day after breakfast we will start walking towards the Rondoy pass 4750 m, where we will observe the lagoons of Solterococha, Jhuacocha and a large part of the Huayhuash mountain range and the snowy peaks of the majestic Yerupaja and with a little more luck we can observe the typical condor of the Peruvian Andes, then we will return to the camp to spend the last night.

Day 10: Camp. Laguna Jahuacocha 4050 mts/ Paso Pampa Llamac 4300 mts/Llamac (return to Huaraz).

After breakfast we start to pick up the camp to walk to the Pampa Llamac pass where for the last time we can observe the majestic Huayhuash Mountain Range. We continue with our tour descending to the town of Llamac where the bus will be waiting to return to the city of Huaraz.
