HIKE WILCAHUAIN TO MONTERREY

Day: City of Huaraz 3100 mts - Archaeological remains of Wilcahuain 3400 mts - Monterrey 3000 mts (Return to Huaraz) (4 hours of walking and 1 hour transport) Departure from the city of Huaraz at 9:00 a.m. with direction to the East of the city of Huaraz, crossing the populated centers of Paria until the place called Wilcahuain where we started the walk appreciating a lot of vegetation like the typical trees of the mountain range of the Andes and Archaeological Rests of Wilcahuain, above we can observe gigantic mountains, the Cordillera Negra 5186 m and the city of Huaraz, on the way we observe the melting of the mountains that give rise to beautiful waterfalls and rivers that runs through the deep valley of Callejón de Huaylas.
Our trek has 3 hours of travel, where we can have a 1 hour break to eat and take beautiful pictures in the Cordillera Blanca and the Cordillera Negra. Finish our trek in the thermal baths of monterrey to relax and then return to the city of Huaraz.
